Two SSC products on the Global Excellence Shortlist

Two Scottish Salmon Company branded products have been shortlisted for the Seafood Excellence Global Awards competition.

The two shortlisted starters from the Scottish Salmon Company (SSC), part of the Bakkafrost Group, are Tartan Salmon Label Rouge Fresh Scottish Salmon Filet and Native Hebridean Smoked Scottish Salmon – which won the Best New Foodservice award at Seafood Expo last month North America in Boston.

A total of 39 finalists, representing 13 countries, have been shortlisted for the Seafood Excellence Global Awards. The winners will be announced on April 26 at Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global, taking place at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Via venue in Barcelona, ​​Spain.

Two grand prizes will be awarded for Best Retail Product and Best Hotel/Restaurant/Catering (HORECA) Product. Five special awards will be presented for Innovation, Convenience, Health & Nutrition, Retail Packaging and Seafood Line.
